Passport applications generally cannot be completed entirely by mail or online, because biometric data — photograph, fingerprints, and document verification — must be captured in person at an authorised mission.

Step 1: Online Pre-Enrolment and Payment

The application must be started online, through PassCam, before you visit any diplomatic mission.

• Account creation: Register using an active email address or phone number to receive your verification code.

• Data entry: Fill out your personal details exactly as they appear on your Cameroon birth certificate and current passport.

• Payment: Missions commonly reference a passport fiscal stamp fee in the region of 110,000 CFA francs, or its equivalent in local currency, plus a small online processing fee, payable through the methods PassCam offers (which may include card, PayPal, or mobile money depending on your country). Treat this figure as a starting reference only — confirm the exact amount for your specific mission before paying, since fees are set and can be changed by each mission individually.

Step 2: In-Person Biometric Enrolment at the Embassy
